General Terms and Conditions of Business
Scope of application
The business relationship between Wellmann Sports and Media GmbH, Schulze-Delitzsch-Straße 41, 70565 Stuttgart (hereinafter “RTP Academy” or “Wellmann Sports and Media GmbH”) and the customer (hereinafter “Customer”) shall be governed by the following General Terms and Conditions in the version valid at the time of booking.

A consumer within the meaning of these GTC is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for a purpose that cannot be predominantly attributed to their commercial or independent professional activity (§ 13 BGB).
Offers and service descriptions
The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to make a booking. Service descriptions on the websites of Wellmann Sports and Media GmbH do not have the character of an assurance or guarantee. All offers are valid “while stocks last”, unless otherwise stated for the products. Errors excepted.
Order process and conclusion of contract
The customer can select products from the ATP Academy range without obligation and collect them in a so-called shopping basket using the [Add to basket] button. Within the shopping basket, the product selection can be changed, e.g. deleted. The customer can then proceed to complete the order process within the shopping basket by clicking the [Continue to checkout] button.
The customer submits a binding request to purchase the products in the shopping basket by clicking the [Order with obligation to pay] button. Before submitting the order, the customer can change and view the data at any time and use the “Back” browser function to return to the shopping basket or cancel the order process altogether. Required information is marked with an asterisk (*).
RTP Academy then sends the customer an automatic confirmation of receipt by e-mail, in which the customer’s booking is listed again and which the customer can print out using the “Print” function (booking confirmation). The automatic confirmation of receipt documents that the customer’s booking has been received by RTP Academy and that the payment process has been successfully completed.
Prices and shipping costs
All prices quoted on the RTP Academy website include the applicable statutory value added tax. RTP Academy reserves the right to adjust prices. In addition to the prices quoted, RTP Academy charges shipping costs for delivery. The shipping costs are clearly communicated to the customer on a separate information page and during the ordering process.
Registration
The subject of the contract is the organisation of swimming courses. The registration/booking is legally binding. These General Terms and Conditions are recognised upon registration.
If a course does not take place because not enough participants have registered, the course fee already paid will be refunded.
Course fees and payment methods
Our courses can only be booked online via our homepage. Payment options include credit card, PayPal, direct bank transfer and purchase on account. After booking, you will automatically receive a booking and payment confirmation. When purchasing on account, the course place is secured for seven days. If no payment has been received by then, the place will be released again. In good time before the start of the course, we will send a further e-mail with details of the exact procedure and other important information.
The customer can choose from the available payment methods during and before finalising the booking process. Customers are informed about the available payment methods on a separate information page. If third-party providers are commissioned to process payments, e.g. PayPal, their general terms and conditions apply.
Cancellation by RTP Academy
In the event that RTP Academy is unable to organise a course or event (e.g. due to technical defects, illness of the trainer or other compelling reasons), the participant will be informed immediately. In this case, the duration of the contract will be extended by the duration of the prevention. If the instructor is ill, an attempt will be made to find a substitute instructor for the course. In the event of a serious reason or breach of trust towards RTP Academy, the course participant may be excluded. RTP Academy can decide on this exclusion and is therefore only entitled to a pro rata refund of the course fees less the cancellation fee (€45.00).
Cancellation by participant
Participants are entitled to refunds under the following conditions:
- Cancellation 2 Weeks Before Event: If you cancel your registration at least two weeks before the scheduled event date, you will receive a full refund.
- Cancellation 1 Week Before Event: If you cancel your registration between one and two weeks before the scheduled event date, you will be eligible for a 50% refund of the registration fee.
Please note that cancellations made less than one week before the event will not be eligible for a refund. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and sent to our official contact email to be considered valid. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the cancellation request.
Cancellation in Event of Illness
In the event of illness, participants are entitled to a full refund under the following condition:
- Providing a Sick Note: If you are unable to attend the event due to illness, you will receive a 100% refund of your registration fee upon providing a valid sick note from your doctor.
